BOONE, N.C. - Students in attendance at Saturday's 2 p.m. contest between Appalachian State University men's basketball and former league rival ETSU have the chance to take advantage of two promotions at the Holmes Center.
FREE FOOD SATURDAY:
Upon entrance to the December 10th Men's Basketball game vs. ETSU, students will receive two vouchers for free items at the concession stand during Saturday's game.

I know a lot of local runners uttered a collective "No!" when they opened their emails last week and read the news that Steve Bennett is closing his store, 4 Runners Only. The store is closing Dec. 31.
Stocked with shoes, clothing and running accessories, Bennett's little shop in Reynolda Village is a throwback to the days when customers received personal attention, a trait sadly lacking in many of today's retail stores and one that is particularly appreciated when shopping for running shoes.
